Orpingtons are an excellent dual purpose breed,
chocolate while not accepted can produce when bred
correctly show correct varieties. I have chosen to keep
chocolate over blue and black hens to better sex offspring
as I presently have no intentions to show. this could change so i will be breeding birds as close to standard as possible regardless of chocolate coloration.

blues, lilacs, chocolates, black and magpie.
they fly, use perches, are excellent foragers and dont quack they hiss and wag their tails.
i like them for the strong egg and meat production.
